初中一年級，我在一次物理考試中考了全班倒數。物理老師把我父親請到學校訓話。我父親直接對老師說：“我就這么一個女兒，一切都順其自然，她學習不好又能怎么樣呢？如果我們給她太大壓力，她心理出了問題，這豈不是更不好嗎？”那天回家，父親一句批評的話也沒有。快樂長大有多么重要，父親離開我已經24年了，每當我想起他，只有溫暖，只有幸福，他是我這一生之中唯一可以為我托底的人，無論他在與不在，無論我在高處還是底谷，我都可以平安度過。我總覺得自已無所不能。在他那個年代，他走南闖北，從城市到鄉間，四處奔波，與其說是工作，不如說是生存。但是他們這群人的確建立了中國一座又一座著名的水電站。他的認知能力在這種生存的困境之中變得無比強大，我在他身邊長大，他教會我一切面對困境的勇氣。在這里，我要致敬我的父親。

My father said to the teacher that I only have one daughter. Just let nature take its course. It doesn’t matter at all if she cannot do well in school. If we put too much pressure on her, she may develop psychological problems. Isn't that even worse? After returning home that day, my father didn't say a word of blaming. How important it is to grow up happily with love. It's been 24 years since my father left me. Whenever I think of him, what I recall is only warmth and happiness. He is the only person who supports me endlessly in my life. Whether he is there or not, during my ups and downs. I can weather the shocks and crisis safely. I always feel that I am omnipotent. In his time, He measured the length and breadth of the country with his steps, travelling from urban areas to rural areas. It was more for survival than for work. But he and his co-workers did build one famous hydropower station after another in China. He developed extraordinary ability in such a difficult time. I grew up at his side, and he taught me the courage to face all difficulties. Here, I would like to to pay tribute to my father.
