6月2日13:30，仁醫(yī)醫(yī)療三人團(tuán)隊(duì)前往海德堡大學(xué)附屬胸科醫(yī)院拜訪了院長Herth教授。海德堡大學(xué)附屬胸科醫(yī)院是一家專注于肺部疾病的中心，位于海德堡 Rohrbach 地區(qū)，環(huán)境安靜宜人。Herth教授親自接待了我們，他的辦公室墻上掛滿了來自歐洲及中國各大學(xué)會、機(jī)構(gòu)、醫(yī)院頒發(fā)的聘書與獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。他向我們介紹，海德堡大學(xué)附屬胸科醫(yī)院擁有超過125年歷史，是德國最早、最具規(guī)模的肺科專科醫(yī)院之一，也是目前歐洲最大的肺病診療中心。醫(yī)院每年接診約7萬名病人，其中5萬門診病人，2萬名住院患者。醫(yī)院始終專注于肺部疾病，發(fā)展出高度專業(yè)化的診療體系，這也促成了他與中國多家頂尖呼吸醫(yī)學(xué)中心建立長期穩(wěn)定的合作關(guān)系。Herth教授特別提到，該院的科研方向主要聚焦于轉(zhuǎn)化醫(yī)學(xué)——“用今天患者的樣本和數(shù)據(jù)，為未來患者開發(fā)診療方案”，強(qiáng)調(diào)科研服務(wù)臨床、服務(wù)下一代患者。他也向我們展示了醫(yī)院獲得的多項(xiàng)德國和歐洲專業(yè)學(xué)會的認(rèn)證與榮譽(yù)。Herth教授本人是全球公認(rèn)的呼吸內(nèi)鏡領(lǐng)域的頂尖專家，長期以來深度參與推動呼吸內(nèi)鏡技術(shù)在全球范圍內(nèi)的臨床發(fā)展，也積極與中國多家頂尖呼吸中心合作，支持了大量臨床研究與技術(shù)引進(jìn)。他非常關(guān)注醫(yī)學(xué)教育的普及和傳播，創(chuàng)辦了“Pulmonology on Air”這一線上醫(yī)學(xué)教育平臺，定期與來自世界各地的專家共同組織公開課程。2025年P(guān)ulmonology on Air中國專場活動將于6月13日上線，屆時(shí)將有多位中外頂級呼吸領(lǐng)域?qū)＜覅⑴c線上直播授課，推動中外醫(yī)學(xué)交流進(jìn)一步深入。在了解我們關(guān)于臨床醫(yī)學(xué)博士項(xiàng)目與訪學(xué)項(xiàng)目的介紹后，Herth 教授表示高度認(rèn)可，認(rèn)為項(xiàng)目結(jié)構(gòu)清晰、組織專業(yè)。他也分享了以往與中國醫(yī)院合作中遇到的一些挑戰(zhàn)，比如邀請函已發(fā)出但簽證未獲批，合作難以落地。他期待通過與仁醫(yī)醫(yī)療的合作，進(jìn)一步提升中德交流的效率與成功率。我們愉快地約定，將于今年7月初在北京再次見面。

At 13:30 on June 2nd, the team of three from Gloryren went to the Thoraxklinik University of Heidelberg to visit Prof. Herth, Medical Director of the hospital. Located in the tranquil Rohrbach district of Heidelberg, it is a specialized hospital for the treatment of lung diseases. Prof. Herth personally welcomed us in his office. The walls of his office were adorned with numerous appointment certificates and awards from academic societies, institutions, and hospitals across Europe and China. He introduced to us that the Thoraxklinik Heidelberg, with a history of over 125 years, is one of the oldest and largest specialized hospitals for the treatment of lung diseases in Germany, and also is the largest medical center for lung diseases in Europe. The hospital receives approximately 70,000 patients annually, including 50,000 outpatients and 20,000 inpatients. The hospital has always focused on lung diseases, developing a highly specialized diagnosis and treatment system, which has facilitated long-term and stable partnerships with multiple top respiratory medicine centers in China. Prof. Herth specifically shared that the hospital’s research primarily focuses on translational medicine—"using today's patient samples and data to develop treatment methods for the next generation of patients"—emphasizing that research should serve patient care. He also showed us the hospital’s certifications and honors awarded by professional societies in Germany and Europe. As a globally recognized leading expert in respiratory endoscopy, Prof. Herth has long been deeply involving in promoting the respiratory endoscopy techniques around the globe and has actively collaborated with multiple top respiratory medicine centers in China, supporting numerous clinical research projects and technique introductions. With a great passion on medical education, he founded "Pulmonology on Air", an online medical education platform that regularly organizes public courses with experts from around the world. The Pulmonology on Air China Launch Event 2025 will start on June 13th, featuring live lectures by top Chinese and international pulmonologists to further deepen international medical exchanges. After learning about our German MD Program and Fellowship Program, Prof. Herth highly recognized their value, describing the programs as well-structured and professionally organized. He also shared challenges encountered in past collaborations with Chinese hospitals. He hopes that partnering with Gloryren will enhance the efficiency and success rate of Sino-German exchanges. We were pleased to agree that we will meet again in Beijing in early July this year.
