1月17日仁醫醫療團隊8點從海德堡出發驅車1小時30分鐘前往130公里外的斯圖加特拜訪歐洲泌尿外科學會秘書長、德國泌尿外科學會2020-2021年主席Stenzl教授。教授特地安排秘書到醫院門口迎接我們，并為我們的到來精心準備了當地特色面包、水果、茶飲。疫情期間，Stenzl教授從來沒有中斷與中國同道的學術交流，通過仁醫醫療與深圳大學附屬華南醫院吳松院長團隊先后舉行4次視頻會議，討論臨床與科研問題，并接收了訪學人員到圖賓根大學附屬醫院深造。2024年起，Stenzl教授將帶領團隊招收來自中國的臨床醫學博士并到中國三甲醫院擔任國際客座教授。Stenzl教授提出，作為泌尿外科醫生，僅僅只會做手術是不足夠的。對于腫瘤病人，泌尿外科醫生需要負責病人的全流程管理，這意味著泌尿外科醫生需要精通影像、診斷、手術、放化療、系統治療，否則只能稱之為泌尿外科的“旁觀者”。 他和團隊希望與仁醫醫療合作搭建交流平臺，設計標準化的繼續教育課程項目，將他和團隊多年積累的經驗分享給中國醫生和醫院。閉門會議結束后，Stenzl教授親自送仁醫醫療團隊到醫院門口，并再三囑咐最近雪天路滑，注意安全。分別時，Stenzl教授說他會盡全力支持仁醫醫療的所有項目，助力中國三甲醫院的國際化、標準化診療體系。Stenzl教授將到蘇州參加2024中歐醫院管理學科建設人才培養全球論壇。

On January 17, the team of Gloryren left Heidelberg at 8 am, and took an one and a half hours drive to Stuttgart, 130 kilometers away, to visit Prof. Stenzl, Secretary-General of the European Association of Urology (EAU) and former President of the German Society for Urology (DGU). Prof. Stenzl's secretary greeted us at the entrance of the hospital and prepared some local bread, fruit, and tea for our arrival. During the outbreak of COVID-19, Prof. Stenzl never stopped the academic exchanges with Chinese colleagues. Through Gloryren, Prof. Stenzl had four video conferences with President WU Song’s team at South China Hospital Affiliated to Shenzhen University, to discuss clinical and scientific research topics, and received visiting fellows to the University Hospital Tübingen for further study. From 2024, Prof. Stenzl and his team will receive M.D. doctoral candidates from China and will visit Grade Three Class A hospitals in China as visiting professors. Prof. Stenzl pointed out that it is not enough for a urologist to only perform surgery. For oncological patients, urologists need to manage the whole process of diagnosis and treatment, which means that urologists should be proficient in imaging, diagnosis, surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and systematic treatment, otherwise, they only oversee the sidelines. Prof. Stenzl and his team hope to cooperate with Gloryren to build a communication platform, design structured continuing education programs to share their experience accumulated over the years with Chinese doctors and hospitals. After the meeting, Prof. Stenzl personally saw us off at the hospital’s entrance, and reminded us to be careful of the slippery road during the recent snowy days. At the time of parting, Prof. Stenzl said that he will do his best to support all the projects of Gloryren and help the Grade Three Class A hospitals in China to develop an international and standardized diagnosis and treatment system. Prof. Stenzl will attend the Sino-Euro Global Forum on Hospital Management, Specialty Construction and Talent Cultivation in 2024 in Suzhou.
